Terms of Service

Effective: July 21, 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of Cogni. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service provider

Cogni is operated by Fundacja Wschodnioeuropejskie Centrum Ekologicznej Edukacji Niekonwencjonalnej, with its registered office at ul. Rosy 3B, 20-516 Lublin, Poland (NIP 9462732127; KRS 0001058035; REGON 526399727). The Foundation is the service provider and the seller of paid subscriptions. You can reach us at fundacjawceen@gmail.com.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Cogni. If you're using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no scraping, no reverse engineering, no attempts to disrupt other users, no uploading of unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Cogni (decks, notes, palaces). You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the service for you.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Cogni Pro is a paid subscription sold by the Foundation. Prices are shown in Polish złoty (PLN) as the total amount you pay. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

6. Delivery and access

Cogni Pro is digital content supplied electronically. Access to paid features is granted immediately after your payment is confirmed — there is no physical delivery and no shipping time. If access is not unlocked after a successful payment, contact fundacjawceen@gmail.com and we'll resolve it.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a paid subscription. Because Cogni is digital content supplied immediately, by starting to use paid features you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the right of withdrawal may be lost once the service has been fully provided. Refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Complaints

You can file a complaint about the service at any time by emailing fundacjawceen@gmail.com with a description of the issue and the email address on your account. We will consider your complaint and respond within 14 days.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep Cogni running, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Cogni is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
